Description
Local Ngati Whakaue carver who now lives on the coast has carved this magnificent piece, it is 9cm x 5cm. He has a pounamu disk on his forehead and paua eyes. The bone used can only be sourced from whales that have passed, the iwi offer it to different carvers who then create these master pieces
